The Joint Radio Company Ltd. (JRC) is an ISO9001-accredited industry-owned independent Spectrum Management Consultancy and Spectrum Management Organisation with primary responsibility for the radio spectrum used by the UK Energy Industry. Our areas of expertise include:

• Radio Link Planning (VHF, UHF and Microwave);
• Radio Link Coordination with Wind Farms;
• Scanning Telemetry and SCADA System planning and licensing;
• Analogue and Digital Private Mobile Radio planning and commissioning and
• Radio Service Area Planning.

About us:

JRC was formed in 1955 by the UK Utilities as the Technical Secretariat of the Joint Radio Committee of the Nationalised Fuel & Power Industries. The Committee managed the utility radio spectrum, which is what we still do today, but we do a lot more than that as well.
