JRC Software Library

Whilst the JRC isn't in the business of developing software, we do come across some tools that make our lives easier. The following programs or suites of tools have all proven useful to us at some time or another and you may also find them useful. We offer them with no strings attached and if you get into difficulties please don't ask us about them. "If it breaks, you get to keep both halves", as they say.

• GEOG/HEIGHTS Tools [ZIP file, 1.376.5 MB]
  This is a suite of DOS software tools produced by Andy Talbot (G4JNT) back in the early 1990s.
  Whilst primarily intended for surveying sites for amateur radio microwave links it can be used for all sorts of activities. Even now they come in very useful on occasions.
  (Whilst written for DOS these tools work fine under Linux using FreeDOS as well as under most flavours of Windows in a DOS box.)
