Engineering Technician

We have a vacancy for an engineering technician to
process coordination requests from wind farm
developers.
Your primary task would be to assess whether the
proposed wind farm development would have an impact
on utility SCADA and fixed links. JRC has developed
a computer tool to assist in this task, but a
reasonable understanding of the mechanisms involved
in the potential interference scenario is still
required.
As part of a small team of engineering specialists
managing radio spectrum for operational and
emergency communications systems, based in London
SE1, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with
practical experience of radiocommunications who is
interested in widening their experience of
communications systems.
